Briahna Schweer is the adorable young neice of one of our Carpets by Otto team members and she was recently diagnosed with a rare, potentially life threatening tumor in her chest attached to her heart, right lung, arteries, and diaphragm. Soon she will travel to the Cleveland Clinic to have surgery. You can find out more about Briahna's story at this website.
Briahna's parents, already bearing a heavy burden from the auto industry layoffs, will now have to find money for medical bills, travel expenses, and lost wages related to her care. In order to lighten their load, and allow them to focus on caring for their daughter, Briahna's extended family is organizing a fundraising event called Bidding For Briahna.
