Every once in awhile we are fortunate enough to be recruited for a truly exciting and imaginative project, and we think you'll agree that this over the top child's playroom would certainly qualify!

Remodelling contractor AAA Construction was hired to design and build an amazing 22'x32' wonderland featuring green grass carpet, a custom inset carpet walking path, a hand painted fish pond, a tire swing, a tree-house, a ceiling mounted airplane, a slide, custom wall and ceiling murals, an array of television monitors and much more!

This panorama shows the three vignettes on the western wall, a barber shop, a candy shop (doing double duty as a music studio), and a bait shop / fish pond.

The barber shop and candy shop vignettes each feature hand carved carpet insets.

The bait shop / fish pond features a beautiful painted floor and whimsical wall murals by local faux artist Kelly Weik.

These charming murals in the vignettes were each designed to incorporate the nick names of family members for a truly personal touch.

Carpets by Otto's installers fabricated this carpet walking trail leading up to the tree house and around behind the slide.

The amazing tree house features a platform kids can use to climb up into a secret tunnel inside the ceiling that leads across to the slide!

The secret tunnel also leads to this custom built airplane mounted right into the ceiling!

More amazing mural work by Kelly Weik including the tree, cloudscape ceiling, and tons of charming little surprises hidden all around the room!

The north wall features this retro style television mural which serves as a backdrop for a decidedly non-retro bank of flat-screen monitors. Kids can watch one program on five screens, or different programs on each individual screen!
Carpets by Otto would like to thank AAA Construction and the homeowners once again for allowing us to be part of this amazing project.
