Portfolio: Nature's Carpet Installation

Here's a lovely installation of a low profile wool loop carpet that we just completed in Holland, Ohio.

What makes this project special is that the floorcoverings are 100% chemical free!  Both the carpet, and the cushion underneath it are from an exciting new line of all natural, eco-friendly flooring products.

The homeowner had mistakenly purchased regular carpet at a box store, but suffered allergic reactions almost immediately after the installation.  She had the carpet taken out, asked for a refund and began doing some online research into non-toxic carpet options.  The answer to her dilemma was the Nature's Carpet display at Carpets By Otto's Levis Commons Design Center in Perrysburg.  A few weeks later the all natural carpet and padding were installed and the customer couldn't be happier:

Bowling Green Sorority Wins Otto's Extreme Floor Makeover Contest!

Bowling Green State University's Delta Gamma Sorority is the winner of Carpets by Otto's 2009 Extreme Flooring Makeover contest!

During the contest Carpets by Otto customers were invited to furnish before and after photographs of their room makeover projects, along with a written testimonial with a $500 prize awarded to the winner.

Most of the entries submitted were simple photographs, but the sorority's extravagant scrapbook style photo album with numerous before and after photos along with a two page testimonial letter easily beat out the competition.

Carpets by Otto's founder Otto Weik was on hand to present the award to sorority President Barbara Johnstone at the Beta Mu chapters newly remodeled residence.

"Everyone there was very friendly, gracious and considerate." explained Mr. Weik. "I really enjoyed their enthusiasm and I'm honored that they allowed our company to play a role in revitalizing their home away from home."

The Delta Gamma sorority organization is a nationwide organization promoting integrity, personal responsibility, intellectual honesty, friendship and a sense of social responsibilty at over 300 college campuses.
